If you live in Texas and not under a rock, you must have seen the Greg Abbott advertisement. It is everywhere on television and the internet. If you haven’t seen it, here it is: It begins by claiming he has transformative policies. Ann Richards left the governor’s office in 1995. Since then Republicans have dominated state politics.
