I read RFK Jr’s book “The Real Anthony Fauci”, which alleges corruption around the Covid crisis, the AIDS epidemic, and other activities that Dr Anthony Fauci had his hand in. It is hard to refute. It is heavily footnoted and endorsed by a long list of researchers and physicians. I have looked long and hard for any book that refutes this one and cannot find one.
While Dr. Fauci and Bill Gates could be villains, when people don’t like policies, the policy makers need to be held accountable. Neither Fauci nor Gates have armies or police. People elected to public office are the ones who impose mandates, shut down businesses, and close schools.
To be candid, when COVID broke out, I did not know how dangerous it—and the policies surrounding it—would be. I was aware of the Spanish flu of 1918, but I wondered if this would be worse. There are reports that the vaccines that were fast tracked have caused some to suffer long term difficulties. This may have happened to me after I got a booster. In hindsight, I wish I had deferred the vaccine and let natural immunity work.
Responding to a crisis is one of the most important duties of the governor. I can say as a Libertarian that last thing I would consider is to deprive people of their liberty and livelihood.
