I was accosted by a comedian
After a Denny’s breakfast with Boston Bones we joined Maria and Race for a shuttle ride to the post office. I stayed behind as they went off to hike north to Mt Taylor and beyond. I walked a short distance to the library and got there 30 minutes before it opened. I was greeted by a young man who regards himself as a comedian and a banker. After enduring his act I am convinced he is neither, but it killed some time anyway.
When the library doors mercifully opened I got on a computer to check some financial matters. I found my automatic payments of my health insurance premiums never got processed. Heck!
On the way back to my hotel I stopped by the Sands Motel and saw Avo and Gabs. They are a fun couple doing the hike as their honeymoon. I had not seen them since the 4/15 shuttle to Crazy Cook
I had a nice lunch at El Cafecito, saw hikers BrightLight and Dan from Boulder, and got back to the hotel to handle other matters. I had to return to the library to print and fax another ACH form to get my health premiums payments processed
I got a list of donors from CurePSP and contacted everyone to thank them for their support
Then I did some detailed map work for the Cuba segment and packed up
I guess I am ready to get back on the trail. Looks like I might run into rain climbing Mt Taylor. HeHo!
