GLACIER NATIONAL PARK, MT
The morning was nice, and made even nicer when Guy and NomNom showed my the giant moose in the pond looking at us. I proceeded on to the Many Glacier Lodge where Scout escorted me to the table with Kramers and Grimm just before the breakfast buffet shut down.
We had another big climb up Piegan Pass which involved some snow fields. I had my ice axe out and my snow spikes on which kept coming off my shoes. After the pass the downhill has kind of hard on my feet and knees. The trail work that had been done here is very impressive.
Just before arriving at Reynolds campground Kramers and I met a park officer who informed us that another group of CDT hikers were in our campground without a permit, so we were overcrowded. We worked it out and everyone was able to setup for the night. This time my rain fly was up, and we did get rain.
