TETON WILDERNESS, WY
The rain had dissipated when Seth and Jenny hit the trail. It was great seeing them, and I departed soon after in the misty, damp morning, going the opposite direction.
I took an early lunch as the sun popped out. Along came the first of many northbound CDT hikers I would see today. Greeting me at lunch were Gfunk, Lala, and Dayman. A little later, Delightful came by. Lastly, the group of G, Funk, and Tom came by.
After lunch, I met more hikers on the trail. First there was Appa, then Andy, then Picker. Then I met Sam and Andy; Andy was in my shuttle to Crazy Cook on April 15. It was great to talk to him. Late in the evening, I saw Lt Dan.
Quite a big wave of northbound thru hikers!
I made it to my camp destination, so I only have a short 7 miles to the road tomorrow. Then I will need to hitch 28 miles to Dubois. I hope people don’t think I’m the Unabomber!
