HIGH COUNTRY ALPACA RANCH Hit the trail before most hikers awoke at the Toaster House. It was all easy and flat road walk under threatening rain clouds. After about 15 miles I started to feel some pain on my lower right shin just above the ankle. Shin splints? Seth was nursing this in Pie Town; maybe its contagious?
