LEADORE, ID 35 degF? In July? That’s how I awoke this morning. I decided to cook my oatmeal this time With my puffy jacket on I descended the gentle 5 miles to Bannock Pass under bright sunshine. I got there early enough to look for an old train tunnel mentioned by “tedhanson” on the CDT Hiker app, but after searching around I couldn’t find it.
