BEARTRAP GULTCH, MT Last night‘s rain was short but intense (but not in tents). We woke to wetness. The hike was pretty good, but there were some big climbs. We found our crucial water source. A car came by on the dirt road asking for directions to Helena. I think I guided them correctly. I think the high temperature today was 85, which was good along with a pleasant breeze. Only 33 miles to Helena.
