DRIGGS, ID
At approximately 1:00 pm a van arrived at our cabin with Dirtmonger, BearClaw, NumNum, Rideonabuffalo, Flip, and WideAngle. I piled in with Kramers, Pappichulo, HoJo, and William. We said goodbye to our fabulous host Austin and the beautiful and cozy Perry-Mansfield camp and departed on another gorgeous day in Steamboat Springs.
We had a long way to go, but the stop in Jackson WY was epic (in my opinion). We met Beads at Snake River Brewing and I had a fabulous hamburger with a flight of 8 of their very nice beers. HeHo!
At about 11:00 pm we decided to pull into a hotel in Driggs ID. We weren’t sure they would have room for us, but they gave us a spacious 3 bed room. I claimed a floor spot and occasionally dozed until our 3:30 wake up call. There was lots of snoring, but the room was surprisingly bereft of stench (other than my own). We quickly jammed back into the van in order to return the rental in Kallispel MT on time, to avoid incurring additional charges.
Sounds like the longest brew pub tour ever….very jealous.
