CHAIN OF CRATERS
I made it through the Chain of Craters
After a frosty morning and a water fill from the windmill I hit the trail. It was very well marked with prominent cairns and many signs. I went about 30 miles.
One disappointment is my GoalZero solar charger. Last year it worked great. I had to replace a battery, and since then it has not done very well. Today was one of the sunniest I had, and it didn’t seem to charge much at all. I am guessing the battery is defective
I had the same pain on my left shin that I had on my right two days ago. I guess whatever muscle that is decides to make noise after 500 miles. Last time ibuprofin and sleep cured it on the right side. Let’s hope the same for the left
Tomorrow I might make it into Grants
