I had a great day off. I went into town with an empty pack and loaded it with a few choice items at the Natural Grocer. I then took care of some work at the post office, including getting my new Soloman shoes. Sweet! There were also donuts to be had and a braunschweiger sandwich (yum). I got some new water repellant gloves at an outdoor closeout sale, which will really be nice to have. A visit to Storm Peak brewing for a flight and to see my Steelers on TV was delightful. I finished up with my final resupply of food and a wine tasting to bring a bottle to dinner. We dined with all the hikers in town at the house Scout and Frodo are renting and nobody left hungry.
