My final day at home for 6 months and a lot to do. I took a large 50 pound box to the post office to be mailed to the Econolodge hotel in Lordsburg. I was relieved to get that done, and will be more relieved to see it arrive intact I had some last minutes chores as I drove to the airport. Most importantly, I stopped at REI downtown to have Jeff look at my pack weight. To my surprise, I decided to leave my beloved 4 pound tent with Dad to buy a new 2 pound tent. I also…
