SAN PEDROS PEAKS Very late in the night I heard what sounded like a coyote in distress. I recorded some of it on my phone The only other attribute of the night was cold. At over 10k feet the sub freezing temperatures had a chilling effect. I kept my shoes in a plastic bag in my sleeping bag to avoid the Snow Lake episode Coming down the peak today presented icy swamps, mud, snow, and lots of blown down trees. My feet were again soaked.
