East of LEADORE, ID
After post office duties and breakfast, Frodo got me back on the trail. There are some big climbs, but the grades are pretty gentle. The trail goes through a rolling ridge line on a road. It is very open and you can see a long way.
After planning my water out I got to the location of my first source and discovered it is way far off the trail and down a valley. Going down there would mean a very exhausting climb back up, so I skipped it and went another 9 miles to the next source. There I watered, dinnered, and camped.
I got 24 miles today, which is not bad. I am hoping to get 30 tomorrow
